Evidence-based, compassionate care.
Facing anxiety as a young person can be incredibly challenging. It takes courage to reach out for support, and I am so glad you are here. No one has to walk this journey alone. I know how scary it can feel to go to therapy for the first time, and my goal is to create a space where each client feels safe, supported, and understood.
I'm Merritt Glennon, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) in Washington State. I specialize in working with children and adolescents facing OCD, anxiety, and related concerns. I received my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwest University in 2025. Before entering graduate school I worked with adolescents in a community mental health organization that focused on crisis management. As an LMHCA, I am currently being supervised by Maggie Holland, MA, MHP, LMHC, PMH-C.
I am passionate about utilizing evidence-based treatment methods to help clients work toward their goals in therapy. In my work with children, I enjoy combining evidence-based treatment with fun and engaging activities. I work primarily through the lens of exposure-response prevention (ERP), person-centered therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy, although I believe in catering treatment modalities to each client's unique needs.
